Proof of this is our Low C Line, which brings together formulations with a lower carbon footprint, developed with a focus on replacing fossil-based raw materials with renewable alternatives. In the automotive industry, this initiative is already a reality \u2014 with systems that maintain the performance required by the sector, while significantly reducing the environmental impact of the production chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technical sustainability applied to automotive filters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main highlights of the Low C Line for the automotive sector is the systems used in filter manufacturing, especially in the following parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expandable PU systems for air filter production<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We work with specific expandable polyurethane systems, applied in the production of automotive air filters \u2014 especially in the peripheral sealing that ensures the correct fitting and sealing of the filter element.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In this formulation, we incorporate a percentage of polyols from renewable sources, maintaining the required physical properties, such as strength, elasticity, and adhesion to the substrate. This solution contributes to reducing the product\u2019s carbon footprint without compromising technical performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adhesive PU for filter paper<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In this case, we were able to replace 100% of fossil-based polyols with renewable alternatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The application bonds the paper to the base (metallic or plastic), with excellent adhesion performance, curing, and resistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Plastisol with renewable plasticizer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We replaced <strong>100% of the fossil-based plasticizer<\/strong> with one of renewable origin, maintaining the performance of the final product.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This solution is especially relevant in filter components with flexibility and chemical resistance requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>these three solutions show that it is possible to advance sustainability<strong> without compromising technical performance<\/strong> \u2014 one of the pillars of the Low C Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why bring the Low C concept to the automotive line<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Low C Line proposal emerged in response to a real market demand. Clients in the automotive segment began seeking alternatives with lower environmental impact, either by their own initiative or as part of broader ESG strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a clear movement of openness and interest, and our role has been to anticipate these trends, offering tested solutions with technical feasibility and environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Low C goes beyond filters: other automotive applications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to filters, the Low C Line also includes other technical solutions aimed at automotive comfort, insulation, and finishing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Acoustic mats \u2013 for use in trucks and buses<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We use polyol from renewable sources in their composition, ensuring acoustic and structural properties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Seat and backrest foams<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We have formulations that incorporate varying percentages of renewable polyol, maintaining compliance with comfort, resilience, and durability requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Integral Skin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our systems for molded parts with a compact surface and differentiated touch can also receive percentages of renewable sources, depending on the application and requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our development is continuous, always seeking to expand the use of renewable sources \u2014 without giving up the technical performance required by the automotive sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What defines a Low C product at Amino<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We define as Low C any solution that technically and demonstrably reduces the use of fossil-based raw materials in its composition.
